The undue influence of great wealth, power improperly interfered, with the administration of justice and withdrew the charges. This miscarriage of justice demonstrates what happens when certain laws apply to the very rich and a lesser law protects the poor. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely: money and power enabled the abduction of the victim's sons. Moreover it corrupted well known and highly respected lawyers, Judges, powerful civil servants, politicians, the justice system, reporters and others including doctors.
